Would you buy a car from a person who doesn't drive? So why would you buy Ski equipment from someone who doesn't Ski? Hans Seisl was born in the Tirolian Alps. He lived and skied in a little village called Oberau. One of 4 villages in the Wildschonau Valley. He came to the US in 1964. He worked ski instructing under Penny Pitou (Olympic Medallist) and Egon Zimmerman Ski School at the Gunstock Ski Area in New Hampshire for one season. Penny and Egon also had a ski school at our local Hill. The Blue Hills Ski Area. In 1965 Hans came to the Blue Hills and spent the next 30
years as The Ski School Director at the Blue Hills. Over that 30 years Hans had put many a
happy face on the slopes. He has built a reputation for inspiring many
people and their families to take up the sport of skiing. If you ask
most people from this area where they learned to ski you will hear the
famous words...."The Blue Hills". Most of the kids today
could ask their parents who taught them to ski and the answer would
be...Hans! Or maybe one of the Austrians Hans brought to this country
to teach skiing. Hans also has been in the retail end of the
industry for more that 30 years. He used to work as a Ski
Representative on the road in his earlier years. He has seen so many
of you growing up and has equipped many a family member right down to
the racers he used to coach. "The Pro Shop @ Blue Hills" (as
we were called while on the Hill) was owned and operated by Lois Mazza
and Hans since 1988. Lois Mazza has been Hans right hand both with the In 1995 Hans decided to retire from Ski School Director and move the shop nearby to a street location so that he could give customers great deals all year round! The Ski & Sports Loft, Inc. was then born...Giving the public personalize, knowledgeable, honest service. We believe that giving people what they deserve, our best service (with a smile) , honesty, the knowledge that comes with our experience and of course the "Best Deals" is the way we run our business. We wouldn't have it any other way!

US 
We carry an abundance of goods. If we don't
have it we try to get it for you for less. Our ability to educate
customers in every aspect of snowsports is undeniably honest and down
right helpful. After all isn't that why you choose to come to a shop

taught skiing at the Blue Hills for 10 years.
